good. i agree totally with AngelCostumes. you are a poseur and definitely are not one of the cosplay community. You are a worthless trendwhore who has nothing else to do but play pretend with something many people think is quite serious. You need to stop before the real commmunity kicks your ass

What do you mean it was intense? AFAIK, all of the armor was outsourced/made by someone else so I don't understand what you mean...?

The armor was not outsourced to someone else, a group of us worked on it collaboratively. I spent four weekends up in Sacramento helping to form, bake, sand, and finish the armor. Can I inquire as to where you got the impression that Linda and I handed off all the work to someone else?

Perhaps my wording was a little off in terms of outsourcing, but I find your comment below about the armor being milled from aluminum interesting when on your partners blog, the shoulder armor pieces are clearly made from carbon fiber. And the fact she posted on her blog about a company or team called "Mantium Designs". And the fact there are no actual progress pictures save for trying things on...

"Mantium Designs" was created by my friends and I *because* of our collaboration on this project. Linda and I are a part of Mantium designs, along with three or so other core individuals. We even had a booth at WonderCon showing off our first projects and making our public debut.

And yes, the shoulder pieces are made from carbon fiber. After the molds were milled, Linda and I cut up and wove the strips, vacuum bagged them, baked them, polished, sanded and painted along with our friends. We have hundreds of progress photos from the build, many of which I've shared publicly already.

This was a collaborative project, and I'm phenomenally happy with how it turned out. All of us poured an incredible amount of time and money into the costumes. I learned many, many new construction techniques that I can now apply to my solo projects. The Claymore build was intense in every meaning of the word.

I feel like you've got an agenda of sorts, or think that I am misrepresenting my involvement in this build, which I don't make a practice of doing. Rather, you were ill-informed. As a very impressive cosplayer yourself, I'm saddened that you jumped to conclusions in this manner.

Don't mind Angelcostumes...they do sound like they have a bone to pick with you. Probably because they can't make cosplay costumes as well as you can

Hater's are gonna hate.

Oh, and the fact that your partner doesn't make any of her costumes herself nor does she credit the makers more often than not...

It's nice to see some one dress up from Claymore and do it right! Your costumes were amazing at Katsuon! Great job!

I saw this floating around on Facebook, its so lovely! I don't see many Claymore cosplays so I really appreciate them. The claymores themselves are so incredibly shiny, how was that done?

They are actually modeled in SolidWorks and then milled with a CNC machine from aluminum! Very heavy, very deadly. :P
