Hey guys!

I'm at SDCC prepping for the day, so this post will be short. I wanted to quickly share where I'll be and what I'll be up to at SDCC as relates to Tomb Raider. You can check out the massive schedule here: officialtombraiderblog.tumblr.…

However - I wanted to call out that we'll be having a Lara cosplay gathering with prizes for those dressed up on Sunday, at 1:00 PM outside Lou & Mickey's, which is right across the street from the con. Please come or pass this along to other ladies (or gentlemen in TR garb!) who will be dressing up! I want a solid turnout. :D

Yes, I'll be in a new, original costume on Sunday. It may be Lara inspired. :P

I can't even express how excited I am to share this project with everyone! It seems like its been years since Sebastian (my boyfriend) first described his idea for this game to me…

Kickstarter is helping him to make Z. a reality, and that reality is an awesome zombies-versus-survivors digital trading card game. The best part (in my opinion) is that all of the cards use real photos.

If you have a moment, please take a look at the Kickstarter video and read through the list of backer rewards. As a gamer and a zombie fanatic, I want to help this game come to fruition, and I hope many of you do as well! I received a large number of birthday messages yesterday, generously asking if I had a gift wish list living on the internet somewhere. If that sentiment still stands, I'd love for you to contribute to the project - any small amount makes a difference. If you can't contribute financially, a share would go a long way to making this game a reality.

I'm going to end by bragging a bit, and most likely embarrassing Sebastian. I'm immensely proud of him and all the work he's put into Z. I hope that hard work resonates with all of you!

I'm ecstatic to finally blow the lid off a contest that's been a longtime in the making! I figure fellow Deviant Art users might want to take a stab and participate! :D

The competition in a nutshell: We're hosting a massive fanart contest, with a primary stipulation that the submission must be created "by hand." Why, you may ask? The prize helped to dictate the rules in this case.

The winner of the "By Hand" art competition will walk away with an original charcoal illustration of Lara Croft by Crystal Dynamics Senior Art Director Brian Horton. The exclusive drawing is a whopping 11x17 in size, is professionally matted, and signed by Brian. We've got three sizable subcategory prizes, too.

You can find all the rules and regulations in English here forums.eidosgames.com/showthre… . Links to additional languages can be found below. Thank you to the following webmasters who aided with translations, ensuring that Tomb Raider fans worldwide can participate!

If I may gush for a moment, one of my absolute favorite things about the Tomb Raider fandom is the creativity of our followers. I love sifting through paintings, crafts, sculptures, costumes, and other creative endeavors - it's the highlight of my day. I can't wait to see what you guys come up with!

Looking for a very exclusive 2012 calendar?

A limited (as in only one) Cosplay for a Cause calendar is currently up for auction, boasting signatures from all 18 cosplayers as well as artists Mark Brooks, Brian Stelfreeze, and Cully Hammer.

I'm very proud to have been involved in this initiative, and can't wait to announce the total amount we've raised for the Japanese Red Cross.

Please take a look, or share with anyone you think would be interested: cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?…

If you're looking to pick up an unsigned version of the calendar, you can still do so here: www.cosplayforacause.com/

October has finally arrived, and I couldn't be more excited to share my pet project with you! This digital art exhibit has been keeping me busy for months now, and it's been a real treat to work with some of my favorite artists.

Tomb Raider was first unleashed on the world in October 1996, manifested from fantasy to reality by creator Toby Gard and the talented crew at Core Design. Little did they know how successful their adventurer would become; skyrocketed to a household name within the year and carving a place in history as a pop-culture icon transcending the gaming space.

To celebrate the 15-year anniversary Crystal Dynamics is playing curator to a unique digital art exhibition, commissioning eight original pieces by a selection of esteemed artists. The pieces will showcase the new vision for Lara Croft, whilst embracing the individual style of each participating artist.

We're kicking off the month with one of my personal favorite artists – Andy Park. Tomb Raider fans know Park as the primary penciler behind the Top Cow Tomb Raider comics. We'll conclude the month with a much-anticipated piece by Toby Gard himself. The artists between will remain a surprise!

Additionally, during the month of October a series of events will be held to mark the celebration, including a signing by a participating artist at New York Comic Con on October 14. As a finale to the month-long event, a limited selection of T-shirts and posters will be available for purchase from The Nerd Machine with a portion of the proceeds to benefit Child's Play charity.

Make sure to visit Tombraider.com/15 every Monday and Friday throughout October for another tribute, ready to adorn your desktop or favorite mobile device. Thanks to Hiptic.com for the wonderful splash page!

I hope you all enjoy the pieces of art we've commissioned – this project began as a tribute to Tomb Raider, but also as a tribute to fans. We would have little to celebrate without you. Crystal Dynamics, and Core Design before us, know how important the support of franchise followers has been throughout the years. I say with all sincerity – Thank you.
